Aon has commenced its long-planned Aon Advice Preferred Partner Program as from 1 January 2009.
Originally announced at the beginning of September 2008, the program transition period for all advisers operating under the two dealer group licenses, Aon Financial Planning & Protection and Aon Wealth Management, has been completed.
More than two hundred Aon advisers nationally will provide insurance solutions for their clients using the following six insurer’s products:
- AIG Life
- Asteron
- AXA Australia
- CommInsure
- ING Australia
- TOWER Australia
These preferred partners will underwrite most Aon business, but exceptions may be made for advisers and their clients under certain circumstances, such as where combinations of age, occupation and premium discount factors may not be present within the preferred partner panel.
Aon General Manager Distribution, Tony Lye, said that Aon will be shortly holding its first round of meetings for the year with its preferred insurers, and will be conducting regular quarterly reviews, in a process that sets high standards going forward for due diligence in risk product solutions and services for clients.
