Lonsdale Financial Group (Lonsdale) has introduced a new service for its advisers with the provision of Business Managers to assist practices implement the dealer group’s new support programs.
The program modules, which have been launched to Lonsdale’s adviser network, include:
- Client service
- Pricing
- Client segmentation
According to Lonsdale, the hands on approach in utilising the skills of a Business Manager to work with the adviser in implementing the new programs into his or her practice “…ensures each practice has a specifically structured program that matches its client profile and business culture .”
The new programs, provided through Lonsdale’s practice management division, Catalyst Strategic Consulting, are designed to help financial planners maximise their service offering and pricing based on an analysis of their client base.
But Lonsdale emphasises that the critical implementation of the program modules is done through individual follow up with a Business Manager who works directly with each practice.
One of the program participants, NSW based adviser, Peter Bugden of Bugden & Partners Financial Planning, said “While we all get motivated and excited about new ideas presented at forums and PD days, it’s easy to let these new opportunities slip when you’re back in the office surrounded by piles of work and client meetings.”
Mr Bugden continued, “The individual follow up means that we have a business consultant literally sit with our team and workshop ideas for improving our service for the specific segments of the market we focus on. It’s provided a real boost to our people and given them a bit more confidence in dealing with our clients in this difficult climate.”
Lonsdale CEO, Mario Modica, said “This module is unique in the way that it has been established with an emphasis on identifying ‘real value’ versus transactional clients. The module goes back to basics, working through multiple components, including a unique segmentation approach, creating a specific client value proposition and tailored service packages that are accurately priced to ensure profits are generated.”
Lonsdale currently numbers over 250 advisers nationally, in a network of more than 100 practices.
