AIG Life Special Offer & New Appointment

AIG Life is offering advisers and their clients special underwriting concessions for a limited period.

In the most recent AIG Adviser News bulletin, advisers are given details of  underwriting concessions on the company’s Life Cover and TPD applications for its Priority Protection range.

The concessions relate to medical requirements on ’standard rates’ proposals where various tests (MBA 20, HIV and Hep B & C tests ) that are normally required for cover from $2,500,001 for those up to age 40 are not required until proposed cover reaches $3,000,001.

Higher sum insured limits also apply for ages 41 - 50 and 51 - 60 during the special offer period, which extends from 1 May 2009 until 30 June 2009.

The offer, in the lead up to the end of the financial year, is designed to increase advisers’ automatic acceptance rate, and is also intended to lead to:

  • Less medical requirements, saving time
  • Faster underwriting decisions
  • Higher completion rates
  • Faster commission payments
