ING Australia (ING) has hit the road this week to present the latest enhancements for its OneCare and OneCare Express risk products packages.
In a series of Life Risk Leaders’ Breakfasts around the country, ING is presenting its initiatives to advisers within a theme of ‘Discover more to life’, where success is the sum of many parts.
In addition to the enhancements to OneCare and OneCare Express, the company’s aim at these breakfast sessions is to equip advisers with the latest tools and support to assist them navigate their way through the difficulties of today’s economic landscape.
ING advises it has released an ‘…extensive range of enhancements and upgrades’, which include:
- Improved cover options
- Full benefits for progressive conditions
- More trauma benefits
- Increases for income protection cover
- Smarter underwriting rules
- Electronic signatures within OneCare Express
- Faster cover approval
Within its OneCare product range, ING highlights the following enhancements:
- Industry first - qualification period for Trauma will now begin when ING receives the application, not when the policy is issued
- Significant upgrades to Trauma conditions including:
- Upgraded cover for male specific cancers - testicular and prostate cancer
- Clients suffering from degenerative conditions (such as MS and Muscular Dystrophy) will now be paid a full benefit upon diagnosis
- Clients on an Australian organ donation waiting list will now receive a full benefit
- Introduction of day one partial payments for Income Secure Professional
- Flexible provision of financial requirements for Guaranteed contracts
- Simplified Priority Income Option means clients can now insure 80% of income to age 70.
For ING’s OneCare Express electronic insurance application and underwriting platform, highlights include:
- Smarter underwriting rules and improved reflexive questioning to enable more cleanskins
- New electronic signature which provides flexibility for advisers and clients
- Supporting documents can now be attached electronically
- Unique usability enhancements including medical practitioner look-up.
