TOWER Australia has announced a forthcoming series of workshops designed to assist advisers less familiar with life insurance.
The workshops, called Writing Risk in Record Time, are being rolled out nationally for advisers and support staff to aid in the development of their life insurance knowledge and skills.
TOWER says the workshops will improve planners’ understanding in areas of:
- Underwriting
- Product
- Marketing
- Strategic technical advice
TOWER Head of Distribution, Patrick O’Connor, said any comprehensive financial plan should include not only wealth building advice, but also how to protect that wealth:
“If clients have not been advised on personal insurance protection, they are at serious risk of not being able to meet their financial goals if they suffer a critical illness or disability,” said Mr O’Connor.
One of the key elements in the workshops will be a focus on speed and efficiency, with the training processes linked to TOWER’s online Accelerate insurance proposal and underwriting solution.
