The FPA has signalled its intention to extend its successful ‘Ask an Expert’ online avice service until 31 July.
Part of the FPA’s Financial Planning Week initiatives held in the last week of May each year, the Associations’s free financial advice service has so far responded to over 360 requests for financial planners or general financial advice.
Due to its success, ’Ask an Expert’ has been extended, with the FPA encouraging the public to ‘get online’ and make the most of this free opportunity.
FPA CEO, Jo-Anne Bloch, said in this difficult economic climate, and with tax time just around the corner, people needed advice, so it’s important to get online before July 31 to ask an expert.
“Now that we’ve entered the new financial year, people may have many questions about tax, their super and finances in general,” Ms Bloch said.
“People may be in the dark about lodging a tax return or what they are eligible to claim and a number of people may still be confused about what the changes to superannuation mean for them,” continued Ms Bloch.
