The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has announced the short list of finalists for its 2009 Insurance Industry Awards.
Now in its sixth year, these awards cover the broader Australian insurance industry, spanning the life risk and general insurance sectors.
Referring to the quality of the nominations, Joan Fitzpatrick, Institute CEO and Chair of the Judging Panel said, “The calibre was as high this year as it has ever been and after 6 years of these awards it is pleasing to see how much the industry has embraced the importance of this type of recognition, with a record number of entries received.”
Ms Fitzpatrick added that only those submissions that were deemed to be of a suitable standard have been included in the list of finalists:
“Being judged a finalist in your category is an outstanding achievement in itself and something to be very proud of. The competition in each category was very strong and standards were high,” said Ms Fitzpatrick.
