AIA Australia and MLC have announced key Board and executive appointments during the last week:
AIA Australia
Theresa Gattung
AIA Australia has announced it has appointed Theresa Gattung to its Board of Directors.
Ms Gattung was CEO and Managing Director of Telecom New Zealand between 1999 and 2007 and has held other senior posts with Bank of New Zealand, AXA and TVNZ.
Mark Wilson, AIA Group Chief Executive Officer and President said: “Theresa brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience which I believe will provide valuable additional expertise to our Australian business and complement the extensive experience of the other independent Directors.”
MLC
MLC has appointed Colin Woods to the position of General Manager, MLC Sales.
In this role, Mr Woods will have responsibility for the distribution of MLC investment, platforms, and insurance products as well as NabInvest products.
Executive General Manager of Advice & Marketing, Richard Nunn said, “Colin’s extensive experience and strongly aligned beliefs on rebates, commissions, conflicts of interest and transparency make him ideal for this role.”
