Well-regarded insurance industry identity, Col Fullagar, has been appointed to a new position at RetireInvest to work with the dealer group to build the size and quality of its life insurance business.
Mr Fullagar moves to RetireInvest from the AXA-owned Genesys Wealth Advisers, where he was responsible for the dealer group’s insurance book, including the decision to restrict the number of insurers on the Genesys preferred list to four.
Mr Fullagar told riskinfo that whereas Genesys holds a mature portfolio of life insurance business, he will be challenged at RetireInvest to work with its planners and key support staff and management to build the life insurance component of RetireInvest’s services, particularly as the dealer group has traditionally been associated with superannuation and investment advice.
Mr Fullagar commenced his new role at RetireInvest at the beginning of August.
