With the arrival of Spring comes a fantastic initiative from the Leukaemia Foundation, with its Light the Night events set to take place across Australia.
Light the Night will bring together tens of thousands of people in twilight events across the country who will light a balloon to remember, celebrate and give hope to people living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
The Foundation offers many different ways in which employers and individuals can contribute, such as:
- Volunteer and form a fundraising team
- Recruit friends, family and coworkers to raise funds and walk as a team
- Volunteer your time
- Help out the night of the event
- Join one of the Foundation’s committees
Every hour of every day someone in Australia is diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma
