Macquarie Life has released a supplementary PDS that adds a Child Trauma benefit to the insurer’s FutureWise product range.
The addition of Child Trauma to FutureWise brings the suite in line with most other retail products which offer this benefit.
Macquarie confirms this benefit has been introduced in accordance with feedback from advisers, and includes:
- Provision for cover under death, terminal illness and trauma events
- Cover up to $250,000 (minimum of $10,000)
- Indexation of sum insured
- Continuation of cover into a FutureWise Life and Trauma policy available between ages of 15 and 21
The Child Trauma benefit is available if the policy owner has other cover with Macquarie Life, including Life, Trauma, Disability Income, as well as cover under Macquarie Super Protector.
