CFP Professional Ambassador Initiative

In order to better promote the importance of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) brand to consumers, the FPA has launched a new CFP Professional Ambassador Program.

Announced at the FPA’s 2009 National Conference in Melbourne, the Program is open to all eligible Certified Financial Planners who are interested to become ambassadors and raise awareness of the CFP mark.

“We want the ambassador to stand out as being passionate about CFP certification, their profession, and promoting high quality advice to the community.” said FPA CEO, Jo-Anne Bloch.

Those selected as CFP Professional ambassadors will be publicly profiled to help raise awareness of the CFP Marks among consumers, key stakeholders and within the financial planning profession.

The FPA has already received initial submissions from prospective ambassadors during the course of its 2009 National Conference, and is calling for applications between now and the cut-off date of 11 December 2009.
