AXA has unveiled a value-added service for advisers and their group insurance clients with the release of a new website service.
One of the key features of the new online service is the ability for advisers and clients to access live updates for both their claims and underwriting submissions.
AXA has enabled clients to obtain this ‘real time’ reporting on claims and underwriting by allowing them access, along with their advisers, to its group insurance workflow management system.
AXA’s Head of Group Insurance Robert Bergin said research showed that access to real-time information is crucial:
“One of the key objectives for us [was] to ensure we made it easier for our clients to do business with AXA by improving the service experience, improving the on-line functionality and improving the reporting, all of which are now achieved,” said Mr Bergin.
Mr Bergin added that the enhancements will also:
- Enable advisers to search for policy documents online
- Include a secure document submission which feeds directly into AXA’s workflow management system, which speeds up response times
According to Mr Bergin, the improvements to the underwriting application status reporting will provide the intermediary with an intuitive list of all outstanding underwriting requirements.
