Suncorp Life and TOWER Australia have announced key life risk appointments:
Suncorp Life
Suncorp Life has appointed Donald McBain to the newly created role of Executive Manager Life Risk Marketing.
Announcing the appointment, Suncorp Life Group Executive Geoff Summerhayes, said:
“Donald has a depth of experience in financial services, and in particular in consumer marketing that will be a great fit with our current strengths. Donald’s previous roles included Head of Brand Marketing for MLC and in loyalty marketing for NAB. His consumer marketing experience includes roles with Lion Nathan and General Motors.”
Mr McBain’s responsibilities will extend acros the organisations’ Asteron and Group Risk businesses.
TOWER Australia
TOWER Australia has appointed Paul Rohan as the Head of its AustralianSuper Insurance Account.

According to TOWER, Mr Rohans’ appointment recognises the size and value of AustralianSuper to the specialist insurance group.
Based in Melbourne, Mr Rohan has held senior roles in industry funds, master trusts and consulting firms.
Andrew Boldeman, Head of Group Life for TOWER said Mr Rohan’s strong operations management experience and track record of delivery will add enormous value to TOWER and AustralianSuper.
