risk store 2010 Annual Life Risk Forum

Registrations have opened for the risk store 2010 Annual Life Risk Forum, where the theme will be  ‘Refining Your Craft‘.

To be held in Melbourne on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 April, the risk store says this year’s Forum will ‘… deliver two days of practical and quality learning with a programme that promises experienced and knowledgeable speakers’.

Sessions have been designed to be of practical value to advisers who attend, where the topics, all with the overall theme of ‘Refining Your Craft’ in mind, will include:

  • Business Succession Planning
  • Claims Case Studies & Claims Management
  • Medical Sessions
  • How The Fee Model Can Work For Life Risk Advising
  • Quality SoA’s including Replacement Policy Advice
  • Personal, home and child care costs - what are they?
  • TPD & Psychiatric Illnesses

The risk store also promises advisers that its Forum is a life risk dedicated event with no politicians, insurer staff or ‘motivational’ presenters.

The presenters are technical experts in various related fields covering topics that advisers have chosen and requested in previous feedback.  Speakers will include:

  • Peter Bobbin, The Argyle Partnership
  • Dr Paul Davis, CMO of RGA
  • Michael Jackson (from PPS of South Africa)
  • Danielle Robertson, CEO of Dial-an-Angel
  • Steve Murray and Mylie Hird of Catalyst Compliance
  • Dr Nick Glozier, leading psychiatric consultant
  • Four practising advisers with their claims case studies
