In what it refers to as an ‘industry first’, MLC has launched the MLC Advice Business School.
According to MLC, the purpose of the school is to provide ‘… the training and support necessary for a salaried financial planner to start-up and run a successful financial advice business.’
In its release announcing the establishment of the Advice Business School, the company emphasised that students will not be required to join an MLC licensee in order to attend the school.
Peter Greenaway, General Manager of MLC Business Development, said “MLC’s Advice Business School will help equip already successful advisers to become successful business owners.”
The insurer reports the first intake of the school commences in Sydney later this month.
