Matrix Planning Solutions (Matrix) has added a new Adelaide-based practice to its national network.
Frances Magill Financial Strategists joins Matrix, where the firm will offer advice on personal and business life insurance, superannuation, pre-retirement and retirement planning, savings and investment plans and estate planning.
Matrix advises that in the process of adding another practice to its expanding network, it will continue to focus its selective recruitment efforts on practices that it sees as a cultural fit with the existing 90-strong adviser network.
RI Advice Group/Fortnum Financial Group News
In other dealer group news, it was announced last week that ING Australia has taken a 20% stake in Ray Miles‘ new Fortnum Financial Group.
Fortnum has linked with the ING-owned RI Advice Group (formerly RetireInvest) that will see RI provide core dealer services to Fortnum in addition to ING taking the 20% stake.
Scale benefits are intended to result for RI as a result of the deal, which also addresses the dealer group’s previously-stated growth aspirations.
