TOWER Australia has appointed Aviva’s Craig Parker as the new State Manager for the insurer’s Victoria/Tasmania operations, following the recent departure of Pina Sciarrone.
Mr Parker, who was also the Victoria/Tasmania State Manager at Aviva, is the latest among his former colleagues to establish positions with other firms following the absorption of Aviva into the NAB/MLC Group last year.
TOWER’s Head of Distribution, Patrick O’Connor, said Mr Parker highlighted his company’s commitment to the independent financial adviser market throughout Australia and, in particular, Victoria and Tasmania.
TOWER also notes the recent recruitment of another ex Aviva staffer, Brett Smith as its Victoria/Tasmania State Underwriting Manger.
Mr Parker commences his role with TOWER on 12 April.
