CommInsure’s business restructure has now been completed with two further general management appointments.
Michael Browne
Current Head of Marketing, Michael Browne, has been named as General Manager, Business Services. Mr Browne will be responsible for providing strategy, marketing, distribution and organisational development support services to the insurer’s key business units (see previous article: CommInsure Management Restructure).
Claire Roberts has been appointed General Manager, Wholesale Life. This business unit will provide risk products and services to mass market customers through industry funds, corporates, master trusts and platforms. Ms Roberts was previously the insurer’s General Manager Life Operations.
Including the firm’s general insurance business, the heads of the five business units are:
- General Manager - Retail Advice: Tim Browne
- General Manager - Superannuation and Investments: Greg Ballard
- General Manager - Direct Life: Gareth Newton
- General Manager - Wholesale Life: Claire Roberts
- General Manager - General Insurance: Paul Fahey
CommInsure’s Managing Director, Paul Rayson, commented “This is an exciting time for CommInsure. The five pillar stones are now in place for each of our dedicated lines of business and we are now highly focussed on each of our customer segments.”
The appointments of Mr Browne and Ms Roberts become effective from 12 July.
