ClearView has appointed three new life insurance business development managers to cover the eastern half of the country, citing ongoing growth for the increase in senior staff.
Former Asteron staffer James Blanton has been appointed BDM for NSW and ACT having spent the last six years specialising in life insurance with Asteron. He has also held adviser services and business coaching roles with MLC and Genesys Wealth Advisers during his 15 years within financial services.
Blanton has been joined by Nick Dowling, who has moved across from Macquarie Wealth, and has taken on the role of BDM for Victoria and Tasmania. At Macquarie, Dowling was involved in wealth product distribution specialising in life insurance and has also worked in the areas of financial advice and reinsurance.
At the same time, ClearView has appointed former financial adviser Richard Monroe as its BDM for Queensland, with the move a return to the corporate world for Monroe who previously worked for BT for eight years as a Life Insurance BDM.
ClearView Managing Director, Simon Swanson said the appointments reflected the growth and performance of the group’s insurance business with the three new staffers set to work with advisers and to strengthen existing relationship within that community.
