Total Financial Solutions (TFS) has announced that former FPA Chief Executive Mark Rantall will become the independent chairman of the licensee’s board with TFS also naming an acting Chief Executive for the group.
Rantall will join the board from January 2017 and will continue to serve as a director on the board of the FPA. He has prior experience at senior levels with advice groups over more than 20 years including as the Managing Director of Godfrey Pembroke from 2003 to 2008 prior to joining the FPA.
“I am pleased to be joining TFS as independent Chairman in order to assist with its objectives of pursuing quality growth, implementing the highest governance and compliance standards, and continuing to play an important role as a Licensee,” Rantall says.
TFS, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Countplus Limited, also named General Manager of Growth Andrew Kennedy as acting Chief Executive following the departure of Marcelo Fernandez for lifestyle and family reasons. Fernandez was in the role since January 2015 and had previously been chief financial officer and deputy Chief Executive at TFS.
