TAL has appointed a new National Manager to its group life business development team with the promotion of a senior staff member within the group insurance team.
The insurer named Lisa Larkin as National Manager for its Strategic Business Development, moving her from the previous role of Head of Clients and Strategic Management where she managed a portfolio of client relationships.
In the new role, Larkin will be responsible for the new business activity of TAL’s group insurance team and will manage tender submissions and bring new partners on-board.
Larkin, who has been in the life insurance sector since 1999, joined TAL in mid-2015 and prior to that managed CommInsure’s wholesale business relationship team.
TAL General Manager of Group Insurance, Jenny Oliver, said the appointment was essential to the insurer’s business development plans and Larkin’s “…deep understanding of our partners’ businesses and technical insurance expertise will ensure that we continue to work effectively with new and potential partners, helping them meet rising member expectations and the challenges of an evolving group insurance landscape.”
