Best Client Service Teams Recognised

BT Financial Group, OnePath and ClearView were the big winners in the AFA/Beddoes Institute/Riskinfo Client Service Team Awards for 2017, as voted by advisers.

These Awards form part of the AFA/Strategic Insight Life Company of the Year Awards suite, presented at a gala event in Sydney last night (see: TAL Wins Life Company of the Year).

The 2017 Client Service Team Award Winners and Finalists, based on their performance over the past year, are:

  • 2017 Underwriting Team of the Year:
    • Winner: BT Financial Group
    • Finalists: ClearView, Zurich, Asteron Life
  • 2017 Claims Team of the Year:
    • Winner: OnePath
    • Finalists: BT Financial Group, ClearView, Zurich
  • 2017 BDM/Business Support Team of the Year:
    • Winner: ClearView
    • Finalists: TAL Life, AMP, Zurich

These three Awards are based entirely on the feedback provided by Riskinfo adviser subscribers and the AFA’s membership, where the surveys, research and due diligence was provided by independent research experts, The Beddoes Institute.

Outlining the criteria underpinning these Awards, Beddoes Institute Founder, Dr Rebecca Sheils, reflected on the issues that were of paramount importance to advisers in their endeavours to best serve their clients, which in turn served to inform and deterine the best-performed client service teams in the three critical areas of Underwriting, Claims and Business Support.

ClearView was a first-time winner within these three Client Service Team categories, reflecting its development and progress over recent years, while both ClearView and Zurich featured as either Winners or Finalists in all three Client Service Team Award categories.
