MetLife Australia has announced the appointment of experienced industry contributor, David Campbell, as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Campbell joins MetLife from TAL Life, where he has held the position of GM, Customer Operations and Underwriting for the past three years.
Prior to his time with TAL, Campbell worked with CBA and CommInsure for ten years, holding a variety of executive roles including overseeing the group insurance business.
In welcoming Campbell, MetLife Australia’s Acting CEO, Vince Watt, said his experience managing large-scale transformation, as well as his leadership skills, will enable him to make a major contribution to the insurer’s efforts to reimagine the future of claims and underwriting.
Campbell will become a member of MetLife’s Australian Leadership Team, and will commence effective from 17 September 2018.
