Perth based advisory firm TWD Australia has won the 2018 AFA Practice of the Year Award.
The firm was presented with the Award during the gala dinner of the AFA’s National Adviser Conference ahead of finalists Multiforte Financial Services and Panoramic Financial Solutions.
In its fifth year, the AFA stated the award “…recognises advice businesses which are at the forefront of taking the profession forward through innovation, customer centricity and advice excellence”.
The Award was presented as a joint AFA initiative with Zurich, which also supports the AFA Adviser of the Year Award (see: Hugh Robertson Wins 2018 AFA Adviser of the Year).
In a similar process to the Adviser of the Year Award, the nominees and finalists undergo an extensive and detailed judging process including a client feedback survey, site visit, examination of advice documents and interviews with staff, and a final presentation to the judging panel.
TWD Australia was represented by Chief Executive, Troy MacMillan who said the firm focused on the opportunity of reaching people without advice.
”We have a strong belief in how advice should be delivered and the only thing that has changed over the years has been the size of our business,” he said.
