New retail life insurance entrant, Integrity Life has named former CommInsure Senior Product Manager, William Rogers, as its new Head of Retail Product.

Integrity Life Head of Retail Product, William Rogers

Rogers, who has worked in financial services for 20 years, has been involved in product development in a number of past roles, including his three years at Comminsure as well as during his time at AMP, REST Industry Super and BT Financial Group.

At Integrity Life, he will continue to be involved in product development and strategy to ensure the insurer’s offerings were meeting the needs of advisers and clients.

Rogers said he had been “…given the rare opportunity to build a new product from the ground up” which approached insurance differently than current processes.

“Most products have been developed over the past 20 years, and are very difficult to change, even though consumer needs and technology have shifted seismically. At Integrity, it’s a hands-on environment, where we are able to co-create a new type of life insurance, with input from advisers, ensuring they are part of the product,” he said.

Integrity Life Managing Director, Chris Powell said Rogers brings extensive experience in life insurance to the role as well as a commitment to innovation in the development of products in the life insurance sector that are not bound by legacy systems and processes.

Rogers’ appointment follows that of Mark McCrea and Jacqueline Little who were appointed as Head of Operations and Head of Group Product, respectively, last month (see: Integrity Life Expands Executive Team).

Integrity also recently announced its roll-out of products to the retail advised market under a pilot scheme with a group of specialist insurance advisers (see: Integrity Life Names Retail Product Launch Date).
