Integrity Life has continued to expand its senior leadership team with the appointment of a former CommInsure sales manager to oversee the group’s retail business in NSW, ACT and Queensland.
The boutique insurer has named Julie James to the newly-created role of Regional Manager – Retail, following seven years at CommInsure as State Manager for NSW/ACT.
James has also worked with Zurich Financial Services for 11 years with her most recent role being Regional Manager for NSW/ACT, and prior to that held BDM roles with Lumley Life and Tyndall Australia.
Integrity Life has also named Cornell Hoffman as Head of Finance, where he will oversee financial operations across the business and report to Chief Financial Officer, Lesley Mamelok.
Hoffman joins Integrity from TAL, where he held the role of Head of Change Finance, and has also held roles at Commonwealth Bank, Westpac and Zurich.
Integrity Life Managing Director, Chris Powell said the new appointments had excellent reputations in the life insurance sector and that James had extensive knowledge and adviser relationships and Hoffman brought strong technical skills, including the design and implementation of insurance systems, to his new role.
The new appointments follow a series of others announced earlier this year, including the recent hire of William Rogers to the role of Head of Retail Product (see: Integrity Life Hires Head of Product), and the appointment of Mark McCrea as Operations Manager and Jacqueline Little as Head of Product (see: Integrity Life Expands Executive Team).
Integrity Life will release its retail products in early 2019 and is currently conducting a pilot of its retail products and proprietary systems (see: Integrity Life Names Retail Product Launch Date).
