Zurich continues to walk the talk of a long-term dual brand strategy as OnePath announces a new premium discount and service enhancements to its market offer.

Premium Discount Offer – KickStart

From 27 July 2019, OnePath is offering new policy holders a 10 percent premium ‘KickStart’ discount for new OneCare and OneCare Super lump sum policies in the first year.

The insurer says the discount applies to OneCare Life Cover and any linked TPD and/or Trauma covers with stepped premiums and continues in subsequent years according to the following table:

The provider advises this offer applies in addition to any other OneCare discounts for eligible clients, including multi-cover, packaging and platform discount offers.

The KickStart premium discount offer applies to new applications for OneCare and OneCare Super new business contracts received from 27 July 2019 until 31 January 2020.

OneView Life Quotes Enhancement

OneView Life …can now quote to make increases to existing clients’ OneCare cover

The OnePath team has announced a ‘market-leading enhancement’ to its OneView Life client management system, which it says can now quote to make increases to existing clients’ OneCare cover.

This is a service that can be utilised ‘DIY’ by advisers online – which has been made available, according to OnePath, due to adviser feedback.

In affirming to its adviser force that OnePath paid over $980 million in claims in the 12 months to 30 June 2018 (to more than 4,000 advised clients), the provider has outlined three further initiatives which it says will be coming soon to assist advisers deepen client relationships and support retention via:

  1. Education with clarity
  2. Health and rewards
  3. Client self-service portal services
