Risk Leads Flowing for Mortgage Choice Financial Planning

One of the newest entrants to the financial planning market is reporting a steady stream of risk insurance leads are already flowing through to its network.

Mortgage Choice announced the soft launch of its financial planning business in October 2012 (see: Mortgage Choice Plans to Revolutionise Financial Advice).  It has now opened its first franchises, with advisers indicating there is strong interest from customers seeking insurance advice.

“Our first financial advisers have really hit the ground running,” said Tania Milnes, General Manager of Mortgage Choice Financial Planning.  “On top of their existing customer pipeline and the strong lead flow from the mortgage broking side of the business, they are receiving a steady stream of risk insurance enquiries from Mortgage Choice’s acquired comparison website, HelpMeChoose.com.au.  Word is travelling fast and consumers are embracing the brand’s evolution!”

… they are receiving a steady stream of risk insurance enquiries

HelpMeChoose is one of a number of comparator sites that have emerged online in recent years, offering customers free quotes and product information to assist with the purchase of life and health insurance.  The site was purchased by Mortgage Choice in October 2010.

Mortgage Choice Financial Planning said it also anticipated a strong lead flow through the 80,000 new customer enquiries it receives each year, together with enquiries from existing Mortgage Choice customers.

Kayla White, a financial adviser who has joined the group, said it was fantastic to be working in a franchise system alongside mortgage brokers.  Ms White had previously worked closely with Mortgage Choice brokers, looking after their risk, super and investment referrals, before being approached to become an equity partner.

“I am also really excited about working with clients to provide the type of advice they need relative to the life stage they are at.  I am passionate about making financial advice accessible to younger people and Mortgage Choice Financial Planning really get that,” Ms White said.
