PPS Mutual has appointed well-known Zurich executive, Stuart Meyers as Senior Business Development Manager NSW and ACT, reporting directly to Sabrina Walmsley, the State Manager for the two regions.
A statement from the insurer says the role will begin immediately and Meyers will be supporting both Walmsley and the PPS Mutual proposition amongst a select group of financial advisers in both states.
Walmsley says she is delighted to have someone with Meyers’ breadth and depth of experience join the team.
He has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and “…brings a wealth of understanding and knowledge of the current industry climate”, PPS says.
Meyers joins the insurer after 11 years as Regional Manager Sales for Zurich Australia. Prior to that he held business development roles at Royal & Sun Alliance and ING Australia, respectively.
The company says it is owned by its Australian professional members who will share in the profits of the products that they buy.
