{"id":12510,"date":"2011-09-20T15:30:50","date_gmt":"2011-09-20T05:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=12510"},"modified":"2021-04-15T10:18:50","modified_gmt":"2021-04-15T00:18:50","slug":"rising-star-finalists-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2011\/09\/20\/rising-star-finalists-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"AFA Rising Star Finalists Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has announced the finalists for its 2011\u00a0Rising Star of the Year\u00a0Award.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The Award, sponsored by OnePath, recognises the achievements of advisers who have been working in the industry for less than three years.<\/p>\n<p>The 2011 finalists are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nicholas Brian<\/strong> &#8211; Complete Risk Analysis (VIC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marion Gaertner<\/strong> &#8211; Elders Financial Planning (SA)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matt Hale<\/strong> &#8211; Financial Design for Life (VIC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finn Kelly<\/strong> &#8211; Wealth Enhancers (VIC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ali Mohammed<\/strong> &#8211; Planet Insurance and Financial Planning (VIC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mark Rattigan<\/strong> &#8211; Merideon Wealth Strategies (WA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;The Rising Star Award allows us to shine the light across Australia to identify and recognise some of our best and brightest advisers,&#8221; said AFA CEO, <strong>Richard Klipin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are extremely proud of past finalists and winners, many of whom now sit on the AFA Board and Committees.
