Western Australian adviser Mark Rattigan<\/strong> (Merideon Wealth Strategies), has been named the 2011 AFA Rising Star.<\/p>\n

The Rising Star of the Year Award was presented at the conclusion of the first full day of the AFA’s 2011 National Conference.\u00a0 The Award recognises the best new adviser talent in the industry and is judged across four key areas:<\/p>\n

    Announcing the Award, AFA CEO, Richard Klipin<\/strong>, said it was Mr Rattigan’s passion for providing quality advice and his dedication to his business and clients that gave him the edge over the other finalists.<\/p>\n

    “Mark’s guiding principle is delivering excellence to his clients,” Mr Klipin said.\u00a0 “He captures all that this Award is about and represents the future of our profession.”<\/p>\n

    The Award has been sponsored by OnePath (formerly ING) since its inception.\u00a0 OnePath’s Head of Retail Insurance Products and Marketing, Gerard Kerr<\/strong>, said: “We believe that nurturing new talent is the key to sustaining the industry’s growth.\u00a0 It’s in all our interests to ensure the future of the financial industry is in good hands.”<\/p>\n
