{"id":13203,"date":"2011-11-11T11:44:44","date_gmt":"2011-11-11T01:44:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=13203"},"modified":"2021-04-15T10:20:05","modified_gmt":"2021-04-15T00:20:05","slug":"advisers-using-macquarie-life-most-satisfied","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2011\/11\/11\/advisers-using-macquarie-life-most-satisfied\/","title":{"rendered":"Advisers Using Macquarie Life Most Satisfied"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Macquarie Life has achieved the highest overall adviser satisfaction ranking in the latest survey from researcher Investment Trends.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The Investment Trend&#8217;s 2011 Planner Risk Report found that advisers who used Macquarie Life were the most satisfied with their insurer&#8217;s overall performance.\u00a0 In second place in terms of the number of satisfied advisers was Asteron, with AIA Australia rounding out the top three.<\/p>\n<p>The survey results showed advisers were generally satisfied with insurance providers, with 77% of those surveyed rating their primary insurer as &#8216;good&#8217; or &#8216;very good&#8217;.\u00a0 Investment Trends said this was a &#8216;very high&#8217; ranking, although it was down on last year&#8217;s figure of 81%.<\/p>\n<p>However the researcher warned that insurers with a low number of satisfied advisers run the risk of losing business, with the survey finding over one-third of advisers admitting they had switched providers in the past 12 months. \u00a0<\/p>\n<h6>Switching behaviour is prolific&#8230;<\/h6>\n<p>Senior Analyst with Investment Trends, <strong>Recep Peker<\/strong>, said switching behaviour was &#8220;prolific&#8221; and maintaining a high level of satisfaction was critically important as planners were very willing to seek out the best insurer for their clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have identified a very strong statistical relationship between satisfaction and switching behaviour,&#8221; Mr Peker said. &#8220;Relative to their market share, insurance providers with lower overall satisfaction ratings from their users lose a higher proportion of advisers to other providers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He said the most commonly cited reasons for leaving a provider included poor support and service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The survey was conducted throughout August and September this year with 729 financial planners from across Australia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Macquarie Life has achieved the highest overall adviser satisfaction ranking in the latest survey from researcher Investment Trends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-13203","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-services"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13203","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/7"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=13203"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13203\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13203"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=13203"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=13203"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
