{"id":13253,"date":"2011-11-16T11:26:43","date_gmt":"2011-11-16T01:26:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=13253"},"modified":"2021-11-15T11:53:04","modified_gmt":"2021-11-15T00:53:04","slug":"onepath-upgrades-eapp-underwriting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2011\/11\/16\/onepath-upgrades-eapp-underwriting\/","title":{"rendered":"OnePath Upgrades eApp Underwriting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OnePath has released an upgrade to its electronic life insurance application, OneCare Express, saying the enhancements will increase the number of point-of-sale acceptances.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->From 14 November, advisers can access\u00a0new and extended underwriting rules which the insurer says are designed to reduce the number of applications that are referred to underwriting for completion.<\/p>\n<p>For example, OnePath has revisited the BMI level at which an application is referred to an underwriter and raised this from 33 to 36.\u00a0 Clients with a BMI of up to 36 will now be accepted at standard rates.<\/p>\n<p>Advisers can also take advantage of an increased loading limit for point-of-sale decisions.\u00a0 Applications attracting a 75% loading will now be assessed\u00a0automatically by OneCare Express&#8217; rules engine without being referred to underwriting.\u00a0 OnePath says this 75% loading decision will speed up the application process, and applies to TPD, Trauma, Income Secure, Business Expense, Living Expense, and Extra Care covers.<\/p>\n<p>Other enhancements to OneCare Express include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An improved occupation list which provides requirement details for each occupation<\/li>\n<li>A reduction in the number of family history questions asked<\/li>\n<li>A new electronic version of the mining questionnaire (if required)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OnePath has released an upgrade to its electronic life insurance application, OneCare Express, saying the enhancements will increase the number of point-of-sale acceptances.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[7],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-13253","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-technology","headers-new"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13253","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=13253"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13253\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13253"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=13253"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=13253"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
