Independent Chair of the Life Insurance and Advice Working Group, John Trowbridge<\/strong>, will be outlining his views to the industry at the 2015 FSC Life Insurance Conference<\/a> later this month.<\/p>\n

John Trowbridge will headline the opening session of the 2015 FSC Life Insurance Conference<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As the sector awaits the handing down of the joint FSC\/AFA Working Group’s recommendations, scheduled for release around the time of the FSC Life Insurance Conference, Mr Trowbridge is set to chair its opening session, entitled ‘Resetting the Life Insurance Landscape’.<\/p>\n

Joining Mr Trowbridge in what will be a critically-important debate about the future direction of Australia’s life insurance sector, will be ASIC Deputy Chair, Peter Kell<\/strong>, AFA CEO, Brad Fox<\/strong> and CEO of Suncorp Life, Geoff Summerhayes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In keeping with the nature of an industry that is experiencing significant change, the theme of this year’s Conference, to be held in Sydney on 26 March, is ‘Evolve 2015’. Now in its sixth year, the Conference will feature a mix of plenary and break-out sessions addressing a broad cross section of life insurance industry issues that will hold relevance for all those working within the sector, and ultimately for the consumer.<\/p>\n
