{"id":29614,"date":"2015-05-11T11:42:53","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T01:42:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=29614"},"modified":"2025-09-02T11:34:35","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T01:34:35","slug":"tal-gives-clients-reality-check","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2015\/05\/11\/tal-gives-clients-reality-check\/","title":{"rendered":"TAL Gives Clients Reality Check"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new digital claims tool has been released by TAL, with the aim of helping advisers demonstrate the value of insurance to their clients.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Following on from the release of its <a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2015\/04\/27\/tal-pays-nearly-1-billion-in-claims\/\">2014 claims data<\/a>, TAL has launched an interactive tool that enables advisers to enter client demographics to calculate a range of relevant facts and figures based on retail claims paid by the insurer.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/talrealitycheck.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">TAL Reality Checker<\/a> creates customised data, including visually dynamic infographics, which can be shared with clients digitally or in hard copy. There are also 12 new customer case studies available in the platform, based on real TAL clients.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2015\/05\/TAL-RC.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29615\" alt=\"TAL RC\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2015\/05\/TAL-RC.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2015\/05\/TAL-RC.png 600w, https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2015\/05\/TAL-RC-300x185.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdvisers have been asking for something they can use to engage with their clients on the benefits of financial protection beyond the usual brochure or handout,\u201d TAL General Manager Retail Distribution, <strong>Niall McConville<\/strong>, said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBasically what we are doing is helping advisers give their clients a reality check with our new interactive claims tool. Our aim to provide advisers with better advice tools that support the effective engagement of both existing and prospective clients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt uses TAL claim statistics and other information in a visually appealing way to help promote and demonstrate the practical need for insurance, all customised to the client\u2019s own situation.
