{"id":31432,"date":"2015-10-26T09:21:49","date_gmt":"2015-10-25T23:21:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=31432"},"modified":"2015-10-30T06:33:58","modified_gmt":"2015-10-29T20:33:58","slug":"afa-names-wa-adviser-as-rising-star","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2015\/10\/26\/afa-names-wa-adviser-as-rising-star\/","title":{"rendered":"AFA Names Vic Adviser as Rising Star"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has named Victorian adviser, <strong>Kylie George<\/strong>, as its 2015 Rising Star.<!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_31436\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31436\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2015\/10\/Kylie-George.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-31436\" alt=\"AFA Rising Star Award Winner 2015 - Kylie George, Harvest Wealth, WA\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2015\/10\/Kylie-George.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-31436\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">AFA Rising Star Award Winner 2015 &#8211; Kylie George, Harvest Wealth, WA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>George was chosen from a field of six finalists at the AFA\u2019s opening session at its 2015 National Adviser Conference in Cairns.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists were <strong>Adrian Patty<\/strong> from AP Financial Solutions, <strong>Mark Richardson<\/strong> from Duncan Financial Advisers, <strong>Declan Doolan<\/strong> from Mr Insurance, <strong>Katherine Cairns<\/strong> from Peel Wealth Financial Planning and <strong>Corey Wastle<\/strong> from Verse Wealth.<\/p>\n<p>The Award is given to advisers who have been working for three years or less and have shown both a commitment to education and a valuable contribution to their profession and their community.
