\/>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Following the calling of the July 2 Federal Election, our latest poll considers which Government will deliver a better financial services industry for advisers and consumers?<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>While the current Government has called the election based on the need to pass certain appropriation bills,\u00a0those related to life insurance commissions and professional standards for advisers had already received bipartisan support, but did\u00a0not pass the Senate before the election was called.<\/p>\n<p>However, it would seem these\u00a0reforms will remain on the agenda with both sides of politics committed to changes in life insurance remuneration to advisers and their professional and educational standards.<\/p>\n<p>But which side of Parliament will enact the best legislation for planners?<\/p>\n<p>The Coalition\u00a0has already revealed the details of the Life Insurance Framework, while the Labor Party has been <a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2016\/03\/08\/labor-to-support-lif-but-favours-longer-clawback\/\" target=\"_blank\">more reserved in the details<\/a> of what it would do.<\/p>\n<p>As for professional standards, change in that area have widespread\u00a0support, at least until legislation reaches the lower house, while the recent Federal Budget has concerned many planners with its
