{"id":33343,"date":"2016-05-23T14:45:14","date_gmt":"2016-05-23T03:45:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=33343"},"modified":"2016-05-25T07:35:03","modified_gmt":"2016-05-24T20:35:03","slug":"metlife-recruits-new-senior-staffers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2016\/05\/23\/metlife-recruits-new-senior-staffers\/","title":{"rendered":"MetLife Recruits New Senior Staffers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MetLife Insurance has recruited two new senior staff members adding to its innovation and sales teams.<!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_27934\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27934\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2014\/11\/Deanne-Stewart-2.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27934\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-27934\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2014\/11\/Deanne-Stewart-2.jpg\" alt=\"MetLife's Australian CEO, Deanne Stewart\" width=\"150\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-27934\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">MetLife&#8217;s Australian CEO, Deanne Stewart<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The insurer announced it has hired former KPMG Innovation Manager, <strong>Brenton Charnley<\/strong> as Senior Manager, Innovation and tasked him with embedding the innovation process within MetLife and improving the experience of its customers.<\/p>\n<p>Charnley comes to the role after eight years with KPMG and is joined by former Mercer, Partner and Sales Leader, <strong>Alex Kleiman<\/strong> who has been appointed Head of B2B Sales and Head of Melbourne Office.<\/p>\n<p>Kleiman will oversee new business sales and acquisitions in the Group and Direct markets and will head up the Melbourne office joining MetLife after more than seven years at Mercer and more than eight years at Plum Financial Services.<\/p>\n<p>MetLife Australia, Chief Executive, <strong>Deanne Stewart<\/strong> said Charnley\u2019s experience with start-ups and entrepreneurs would be add to a culture of innovation at the insurer while Kleiman\u2019s experience in developing partnerships would progress the evolution of its sales strategies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCustomers are quite rightly demanding more from the industry and it\u2019s crucial we devote time and resources to better understand their needs.
