{"id":34556,"date":"2016-09-12T16:59:30","date_gmt":"2016-09-12T06:59:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=34556"},"modified":"2016-09-14T08:04:31","modified_gmt":"2016-09-13T22:04:31","slug":"afa-tal-name-five-as-excellence-award-finalists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2016\/09\/12\/afa-tal-name-five-as-excellence-award-finalists\/","title":{"rendered":"AFA, TAL Name Five as Female Excellence Award Finalists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and TAL have named five advisers as finalists in the 2016 AFA Female Excellence in Advice Award.<!--more-->Established in 2011 as a joint initiative of the AFA and TAL, the Award is given to the female financial adviser judged to have made the most significant contribution to clients, the financial advice profession and the wider community with a particular emphasis on financial literacy work with women in the community and their client base.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amanda Cassar<\/strong> &#8211; Director and Financial Adviser, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wealthplanningpartners.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wealth Planning Partners<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lea Schodel<\/strong> &#8211; Financial Adviser, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhpwealth.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">MHP Private Wealth<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Patricia Peters<\/strong>&#8211; Director and Certified Financial Planner, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.petersmckeown.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Peters McKeown<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Peita Diamantidis<\/strong> &#8211; Co-Founder and Financial Adviser, <a href=\"http:\/\/caboodlefs.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Caboodle Financial Services<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Susan Rallings<\/strong> &#8211; Senior Vice President, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morganstanley.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Morgan Stanley Wealth Management<\/a><\/p>\n<p>AFA Chief Executive, <strong>Brad Fox<\/strong> said the ability of the Award to attract high calibre entrants showed the progress of the advice sector in creating positive changes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFemale advisers play a vital role in our industry in providing Australians with better access and more choice over who they partner with on their financial journeys.
