AMP has restructured its advice businesses moving all AMP branded operations into one unit and establishing separate governance functions for each advice business.<\/p>\n
As part of the restructure each licensee would also have its own independent board with a new Channel Strategy and Services team to be created to assist in streamlining advice services.<\/p>\n
AMP said the restructure had led to changes in leadership with Michael Guggenheimer<\/strong> appointed as Executive Director Advice, moving from his role as Hillross Financial Services Managing Director, and given oversight of the establishment of the licensee boards and governance functions.<\/p>\n Guggenheimer will be succeeded at Hillross by newly-appointed Managing Director, Dean Thomas<\/strong> who moves across from his role of Director of Product Strategy and Services.<\/p>\n Neil Swindells<\/strong> has been appointed Managing Director for Charter while Chris Digby<\/strong> has been appointed Managing Director of SMSF Advice and Jigsaw, moving across from his role of Head of Financial Planning \u2013 NSW for Hillross.
