{"id":37475,"date":"2017-06-22T12:50:32","date_gmt":"2017-06-22T02:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=37475"},"modified":"2017-06-22T13:56:27","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T03:56:27","slug":"onepath-life-appoints-new-chief-underwriter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2017\/06\/22\/onepath-life-appoints-new-chief-underwriter\/","title":{"rendered":"OnePath Life Appoints New Chief Underwriter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OnePath Life Insurance has named <strong>Peter Tilocca<\/strong> as its Chief Underwriter with the appointment coming into effect immediately.<!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37476\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37476\" style=\"width: 149px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2017\/06\/Peter-Tilloca.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-37476\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37476\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2017\/06\/Peter-Tilloca.jpg\" alt=\"OnePath Life Insurance Chief Underwriter, Peter Tilloca\" width=\"149\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37476\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">OnePath Life Insurance Chief Underwriter, Peter Tilloca<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tilloca takes on the role in a permanent capacity having been Acting Chief Underwriter since the retirement of <strong>John Leonard<\/strong> in March 2017.<\/p>\n<p>He joined ANZ Wealth, the owners of OnePath, in 2013 as Group Underwriting and Operations Manager and most recently was Senior Manager, Insurance Transformation.<\/p>\n<p>Tilloca will oversee underwriting policy, quality framework, underwriting rules engine performance and associated tools and capabilities at the ANZ Wealth owned life insurer.<\/p>\n<p>ANZ Wealth Head of Life Insurance, <strong>Gerard Kerr<\/strong> said Tilloca was confirmed in the role after providing strategic guidance on OnePath\u2019s underwriting philosophy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis performance during this time, coupled with his extensive industry experience made him the choice for the role.
