The AFA have announced the finalists for its 2017 Female Excellence in Advice and Rising Star Awards to be handed out in October.<\/p>\n

The Association named the Female Excellence in Advice (FEIA) Award<\/a> finalists in conjunction with TAL stating the award \u201c\u2026celebrates women in financial advice who are making a significant contribution to their profession, their community and their clients\u201d.<\/p>\n

The finalists are:<\/p>\n

\nSacha Burchgart<\/strong> – Founder\/Managing Director, Burcheart<\/a> [\/threecol_one] [threecol_one_last]\"Tracey
\nTracey Sofra<\/strong> – Principal Financial Planner, Sofcorp Financial Services<\/a> [\/threecol_one_last]<\/p>\n

TAL General Manager, Retail Distribution, Niall McConville<\/strong> said the finalists were outstanding advisers and astute business women and have given back to their communities by empowering women to take control of their financial futures and mentoring women who have an interest in the advice profession.<\/p>\n

AFA Chief Executive, Phil Kewin<\/strong> said Award was getting more difficult for the judging panel to narrow down the finalists and all nominees should be very proud of their achievements.<\/p>\n

The AFA, in conjunction with ANZ, also announced the six finalists for the 2017 AFA Rising Star of the Year Award.<\/p>\n

The award, which recognises advisers with a maximum four years\u2019 experience who have made a valuable contribution to the industry, is now in its 13th<\/sup> year and<\/p>\n

ANZ Wealth, Head of Sales, Don Sillar<\/strong> said the judges were impressed with the calibre of the nominees.<\/p>\n
