{"id":39312,"date":"2017-12-07T17:05:24","date_gmt":"2017-12-07T06:05:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=39312"},"modified":"2017-12-12T23:03:36","modified_gmt":"2017-12-12T12:03:36","slug":"amp-launches-digital-goals-modelling-engine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2017\/12\/07\/amp-launches-digital-goals-modelling-engine\/","title":{"rendered":"AMP Launches Digital Goals Modelling Engine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AMP has launched a goals modelling engine it will be providing to its advisers to show clients how their choices may impact the ability to achieve their goals over time.<!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39321\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39321\" style=\"width: 151px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2017\/12\/Paul_Sainsbury-cropped.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39321\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2017\/12\/Paul_Sainsbury-cropped.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"151\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39321\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">AMP Group Executive Wealth Solutions &amp; Chief Customer Officer, Paul Sainsbury<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The engine will be part of AMP\u2019s Goals 360 initiative that is being delivered through AMP Advice practitioners, and will use purpose-built stochastic modelling to generate advice strategies that can in turn provide a projection on how achievable the goals of clients might be.<\/p>\n<p>AMP stated the engine can create strategies around managing cashflow, debt, wealth management and wealth protection in real time and presented in a digital, user-friendly format.<\/p>\n<p>AMP Group Executive Wealth Solutions &amp; Chief Customer Officer, <strong>Paul Sainsbury<\/strong> said the engine was the result of a multi-year investment program to build an advice capability for the future based around goals-based advice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve custom built the engine around goals because we know that when delivered well, goals-based advice transforms the lives of our customers,\u201d Sainsbury said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnderpinned by the latest in financial modelling capability, the engine demonstrates to customers in a visual and engaging way how the choices they make today impact the ability to achieve their goals over time,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor advisers, it supports richer conversations and helps build stronger relationships with their clients.
