{"id":42689,"date":"2018-10-23T10:06:56","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T00:06:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=42689"},"modified":"2018-10-23T11:49:24","modified_gmt":"2018-10-23T01:49:24","slug":"asteron-life-product-update-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2018\/10\/23\/asteron-life-product-update-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Asteron Life Product Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Asteron Life has released an update to its Asteron Life Complete product range.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Effective from 1 October, the insurer has issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/resource-centre\/product-disclosure-statements\/asteron-life-complete-combined-pds-271117-spds-011018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Supplementary Product Disclosure Statement<\/a> detailing the changes, which relate mostly to its living insurance product offers.<\/p>\n<p>Key changes include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Total and Permanent Disability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Asteron Life says it is giving clients \u2018\u2026more choice and flexibility\u2019 by introducing the following changes to its TPD cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stand Alone TPD Cover is now available under Suncorp Master Trust Ownership for new and existing Asteron Life Complete customers. Asteron says this means customers can now fund Stand Alone TPD using its \u2018Pay By Any Superfund\u2019 facility.<\/li>\n<li>Where the proposed TPD sum insured is greater than Life cover required, Asteron Life will issue an additional Stand Alone Policy and waive the policy fee.
