{"id":4883,"date":"2010-02-15T16:41:24","date_gmt":"2010-02-15T06:41:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=4883"},"modified":"2020-02-06T08:08:10","modified_gmt":"2020-02-05T21:08:10","slug":"launch-of-new-medical-platform-for-advisers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2010\/02\/15\/launch-of-new-medical-platform-for-advisers\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of New Medical Platform for Advisers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Medical services provider, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uhg.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unified Healthcare Group<\/a> (UHG), has launched a new\u00a0platform service for advisers and insurers.<\/p>\n<p>Called <em>Unifier<\/em>, this new online platform manages and tracks the progress of outstanding medical requirements for all clients and all insurers in one place.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><em>Unifier<\/em> is intended by UHG to set a new benchmark\u00a0in quality and\u00a0efficiency for the collection and reporting of all medical information associated with underwriting and claims requirements.<\/p>\n<h6>\u00a0an adviser &#8230; can now &#8230; track the progress of all blood tests, medical examinations and\u00a0PMA Reports<\/h6>\n<p>The firm says that an adviser or his\/her support staff can now log in to <em>Unifier<\/em> and will\u00a0be able to track the progress of all blood tests, medical examinations and\u00a0PMA Reports requested through UHG, across different insurers.<\/p>\n<p>UHG&#8217;s Executive Manager of Client Services, <strong>Dr Jack Cygler<\/strong> said &#8220;Unifier was designed to improve the experience of Advisers and their support teams.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Requesting, tracking, and managing clients&#8217; requirements are set to become easier and more efficient,&#8221; said Dr Cygler.<\/p>\n<p>The services of UHG are already used by a number of insurers as an outsourced solution for their\u00a0tele-underwriting or other medical information collection requirements.<\/p>\n<p>UHG also notes that the launch of its <em>Unifier<\/em> service is the start of a series of improvements that will be rolled out by the firm over the course of 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Advisers and others wanting more details can visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uhg.com.au\/unifier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.uhg.com.au\/unifier<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Medical services provider, Unified Healthcare Group (UHG), has launched a new\u00a0platform service for advisers and insurers.
