Specialist insurer PPS Mutual has announced two appointments to serve the needs of financial advisers in South Australia and Victoria.<\/p>\n

The company says in a statement that Robyn Faber<\/strong> has been appointed to the role of Business Development Manager (BDM) South Australia, with Steven Walker<\/strong> appointed to the position of BDM for Victoria.<\/p>\n

It says that Walker will report directly to the State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Shadia Kouzma<\/strong> and Faber will report directly to the State Manager for West Australia and South Australia, Steven Salter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Both roles will start immediately \u201c\u2026 and each is charged with supporting the PPS Mutual proposition amongst select financial advisers within their respective South Australian and Victorian locations\u201d, it notes.<\/p>\n

PPS Mutual Director of Distribution, Brian Pillemer<\/strong>, says in the statement that in \u201cthese extraordinary times\u201d it is more important than ever to be communicating the company\u2019s proposition to financial advisers across Australia.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur immediate goal is to show our positivity and purpose to advisers and to support all existing and potential new insured members during times of uncertainty in their life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven Walker joins the company from similar BDM roles with life insurance companies TAL and Asteron Life, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisers and key partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving also spent 14 years in both business development and sales roles with AIA Australia and AMP & AXA Australia, [he] brings a wealth of understanding and knowledge to PPS Mutual, amid the current industry and broader climate,\u201d Pillemer says.<\/p>\n

Robyn Faber joins with 22 years of experience within the Australian financial services industry, most recently working in a sales development manager role with TAL.<\/p>\n

Prior to this, the statement says, she \u00a0was a BDM at Asteron Life for almost three years and also held a variety of paraplanning and financial adviser positions at a number of financial planning and wealth management brands.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
