{"id":52505,"date":"2020-10-12T08:21:05","date_gmt":"2020-10-11T22:21:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=52505"},"modified":"2020-10-12T08:22:28","modified_gmt":"2020-10-11T22:22:28","slug":"stanford-brown-appoints-new-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2020\/10\/12\/stanford-brown-appoints-new-ceo\/","title":{"rendered":"Stanford Brown Appoints New CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stanfordbrown.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stanford Brown<\/a> Chairman, <strong>David Brown<\/strong>, has announced <strong>Jonathan Hoyle\u2019s<\/strong> decision to step down as CEO and the Board\u2019s decision to appoint <strong>Vincent O\u2019Neill<\/strong>, currently Director of Private Wealth, as its new CEO.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from the company says Hoyle notified the Board that he will step down from the role and leave Stanford Brown after 12 years at the firm and just under six years as Chief Executive.<\/p>\n<p>It says his decision to leave the firm follows his leadership of a strong period of growth and that the time is now right for that leadership to transition to the next generation.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_52507\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52507\" style=\"width: 149px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2020\/10\/stanford-brown-vincent-o-neill-e1602106225797.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-52507\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2020\/10\/stanford-brown-vincent-o-neill-e1602106225797.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"149\" height=\"196\" srcset=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2020\/10\/stanford-brown-vincent-o-neill-e1602106225797.jpg 427w, https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2020\/10\/stanford-brown-vincent-o-neill-e1602106225797-228x300.jpg 228w, https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2020\/10\/stanford-brown-vincent-o-neill-e1602106225797-319x420.jpg 319w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 149px) 100vw, 149px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-52507\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vincent O&#8217;Neill.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Brown says that Hoyle\u2019s leadership contribution to the firm has been significant, initially as an adviser, then Director of Private Wealth and from 2015, as Chief Executive.<\/p>\n<p>Hoyle says it has been a privilege and career highlight to lead Stanford Brown.<\/p>\n<p>Brown adds that the company\u2019s decision to appoint O\u2019Neill to succeed Hoyle reflects the Board\u2019s long-held CEO succession plan and its focus on building a strong culture and leadership from within.<\/p>\n<p>He says O\u2019Neill is a proven and respected leader of the firm\u2019s largest division and that he embodies all the values of the firm \u201c\u2026and the attributes of a great adviser and leader of advisers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Neill says he is honoured to lead the company. Originally from Ireland, he joined Stanford Brown in 2007 in the Private Client investment team.
