AIA Australia has launched what it says is the first-ever national wellbeing and mental health study for financial advisers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This initiative is a combined project between AIA Australia, peak performance researcher, Dr Adam Fraser<\/strong><\/a> and Deakin University.<\/p>\n

Dr Fraser says this ground-breaking survey is intended to achieve three main purposes:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Understand the current state of mental health and wellbeing of financial advisers in Australia<\/li>\n
  2. Establish the habits and attitudes associated with those advisers who are currently experiencing good wellbeing – and how they have coped with the significant changes that have impacted themselves and their businesses over the last ten years<\/li>\n
  3. Understand the mindsets and behaviours that are evolving within advisers in order to deal with these significant disruptions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Adviser Voice<\/a> study consists of two parts:<\/p>\n

    Survey<\/span><\/p>\n

    A 15-minute survey of a broad cross section of Australian advisers, where AIA and its partners are hoping to interview around one thousand advisers.<\/p>\n

    Diary Study and Interview<\/span><\/p>\n

    A diary study over seven days and ‘deep-dive’ interview with around fifty advisers, exploring certain key issues in greater detail.<\/p>\n

    AIA Australia and NZ CEO, Damien Mu<\/strong>, says he and his colleagues are acutely aware of the role that advisers play in society in helping Australians and their families, adding that AIA is seeking to better understand what advisers are going though at the moment and how both AIA and the broader industry can best support advisers during these current times and beyond.<\/p>\n
