MLC Life Insurance and ClearView Wealth have announced senior appointments this week, while Centrepoint’s CEO is set to depart.<\/p>\n

MLC Life Insurance<\/strong><\/p>\n

MLC Life Insurance has appointed Bozenna Hinton<\/strong> as its new GM Product, Pricing & Retail Insurance Proposition.<\/p>\n

Bozenna Hinton …joining MLC Life Insurance from TAL<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Reporting directly to recently-appointed Chief Life Insurance Officer, Michael Rog<\/strong>ers<\/strong> (see: MLC Appoints New Chief Life Insurance Officer<\/a>), Hinton will be responsible for ensuring the sustainability of MLC Life Insurance\u2019s portfolio, including the insurer\u2019s new income protection product, which is set to be launched later this year.<\/p>\n

Hinton joins the insurer from TAL, where she was most recently the Head of Portfolio Management, Individual Life, with responsibility for overseeing the commercial performance of TAL\u2019s Retail and Direct businesses.<\/p>\n

She commenced her role on 3 May.<\/p>\n

ClearView Wealth<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maria Falas<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The former Head of Mental Health and Wellness at Zurich, Maria Falas<\/strong>, has moved to ClearView Wealth to take up the newly-created position of Head of Life Strategy and Transformation.<\/p>\n

Reporting to ClearView GM Life Insurance, Gerard Kerr<\/strong>, the insurer says Falas will be integral in the ongoing development and implementation of its life insurance strategy, where it notes it is currently on a \u2018multi-year transformation journey\u2019 to ensure it has the right strategy, systems and processes to drive efficiencies and scale.<\/p>\n

It says the cornerstone of its transformation program is the delivery of an integrated life insurance policy administration system, underwriting rules engine and adviser portal to coincide with the launch of a new life insurance offer in the second half of 2021.<\/p>\n

Centrepoint Alliance<\/strong><\/p>\n

Angus Benbow.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Centrepoint Alliance has announced that its CEO Angus Benbow<\/strong> will leave the company at the end of May.<\/p>\n

In an ASX announcement at the end of last week, Chairman Alan Fisher<\/strong> thanked Benbow for the contribution he has made to the company, \u201c\u2026particularly the repositioning of the advice business through his leadership of the Strategic Refresh transformation, during a significant shift in the regulatory environment.\u201d<\/p>\n
